Old Patesians extended their winning run to four games as they brushed aside rivals Gloucester Old Boys in a physical encounter on Saturday at Everest Road
The home side took the lead after full-back Kyran Dillon scored from close range, before veteran scrum-half Ben Smith doubled the lead when he darted down the blindside off the back of a scrum to dot down in the corner.
The game did not lack in physicality as both teams looked to impose themselves on one another, but the contest was put to bed after prop Joe Hart bundled over deep into the second-half with Charlie Maker’s conversion completing the scoring.
The win takes Pats up to second in Gloucester Counties North 3, with a trip to mid-table Widden Old Boys next up this Saturday.
