With lockdown after lockdown rolling in, it’s only fair to wonder about the businesses which rely on physical contact. So the question is how are the tattoo parlours coping?
Like many businesses, tattoo parlours have felt a decline after covid-19 but where does this decline stop. Although many have bounced back, it’s clear to see that tattoo parlours are struggling through the new guidelines. Staying two meters apart must be hard when you’re tattooing and or piercing a client.
It seems that the pandemic has been rising the price in tattoo equipment furthering the struggle in the tattoo business.

Many tattoo parlours in Cheltenham have updated their coronavirus safety warnings on their websites. ‘No Regrets’, a tattoo studio based in Cheltenham, have published a covid policy website notice. They included strict guidelines- https://www.nrstudios.co.uk/covid-19-website-notice/.
They are working on an appointment only basis and promise that they are practising extreme hygiene. Although these guidelines may put some stress to bay, there’s still a question of whether it’s enough. When on a call with ‘No Regrets’ I was told they get an influx of bookings at their opening time proving that business still could be running strong.-
Popular Cheltenham-based tattoo parlour Magnum Circus Tattoo seems to have not announced any covid-19 restrictions. Although they seem open there is no reassurance of their health and safety around covid-19.
Tattoo parlours seem to face a shaky future, but with a possible vaccine coming out next year hopefully there future seems a little more brighter.
