Stroud Rugby make the short trip down to Cheltenham to play Coney Hill in the Counties 2 Tribute Gloucestershire North.
Both sides arrive into match week six line of stern in the league table sat fifth and sixth respectively with Coney Hill the benefactor.
Coney Hill went on an impressive run of four wins in a row in the league before losing 15-13 to lower side Cirencester. Whereas Stroud’s form has been hit and miss of late, but returned to somewhat decent form in the last three games, especially when they won 44-31 against Old Richians.
The visitors Stroud will try and replicate their 79-10 win over Old Cryptians back in September as they look to build on their somewhat average start to the season.
Many people involved with Stroud Rugby are hopeful they can see their side challenge towards the front end of the table but know that it will be tough.
Stroud really need the result too as they have got to play two of the top three in their next three games which will be the test to see if they are going to challenge the top teams.
Match Prediction:
These two teams are so close to split between them as both are evenly match in terms of quality throughout the squad. I think both sides will give it a good go for the win as this could be a huge springboard towards the top of the league.
I’m going to say it will be a close one but a win nonetheless to Stroud.
