Why not start your day with a lovely walk in the park? Pittville Park boasts 82 acres of greenery and boating lakes which makes for a beautiful stroll, especially in the crisp of the morning, you could even grab a coffee from the Central Cross Café. The Park has something for everyone, you can visit the Pump Room which dates back to 1830, or let the kids play in the playground. There’s even an aviary with different birds and rabbits which you can visit for free.
At the end of the Park you’ll reach the town centre, why not stop for a bit of breakfast at places like Cote Brasserie, or The Find if you fancy more of a café feel. There are so many places to grab a nice breakfast, the night club and bar Revolution even cater for an all-day brekkie.
After you’ve filled your belly, you could go for a swim at the Lido, make sure you take that 30 minute break first! The Olympic sized pool is located within Sandford park on the edge of town. There are changing facilities as well as a café. You might be cautious to visit the outdoor pool, but don’t fret as it’s heated to 26 degrees! Making it perfect for any weather, and there’s even a second pool if younger ones want to have a splash about. You’ll have to pay no more than £7 per person.
