A vintage and retro pop-up shop are coming to Cheltenham this Sunday with over 6 tonnes worth of clothing. This is run by the UK’s largest independent kilo company – Preloved Vintage Wholesale Ltd.
The price of the clothing is dependent on its weight, with the shop charging £15 per kilo. You can shop for clothing from the ranging from the 1950s to the early 2000s. With jackets, dresses, jeans and more, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
On entry, you’ll be given a bag and next, you are sent off to rummage for clothes amongst the rails. When you are done you go to the till to get your bag weighed. There’s no minimum or maximum spend – you can find tops for as little as 75p and heavy items, like coats, are a maximum or £15.
Coronavirus restrictions mean that fitting rooms will be unavailable and that everyone is encouraged to keep two metres apart. Hand sanitiser will also be provided and facemasks have to be worn (unless medically exempt).
Entry is £1.50 and tickets are required for track and trace purposes. These tickets don’t need to be printed – all you need to do is get your e-ticket scanned from your phone.
