Sobriety doesn’t mean that bars are a no-go this month. We’ve come up with three places you could go with your friends for a sip of a non-alcoholic cocktail.
No. 1 – Urban Fox
If you’re looking to have a great vibe with the girls, the Urban Fox is the place to go. From pink and white flower décor and neon signs to low hanging chandeliers and navy blue couches, it’s one of the most Instagrammable places in Cheltenham. Offering a classic list of non-alcoholic cocktails such as Virgin Mojito and Virgin Daiquiri, this gorgeous venue can satisfy that cocktail thirst, minus the alcohol. If you want to try something new, they also have a Cranberry Sparkler, packing in tropical juices with cranberries and a bubbly soda. A little on the expensive side, all virgin cocktails are priced at £6.50, but as a monthly treat, it’s definitely worth it.

No. 2 – The Botanist
This dry January, ‘Beat the Blues’ with a ‘Lilac Reviver’ at the Botanist, surrounded by greenery. The large leafy wall enveloping modern marble tables and wooden tiled floors creates a beautiful contrast between the natural and manmade structures. I can assure you that you haven’t tried anything like the virgin cocktail range they offer. At just £5.75 per glass, their Everleaf non-alcoholic spirits are made from sustainably sourced botanicals, so its both good for the planet and flavourful on the tongue.

No 3. Botanica
This cosy little shack is built for catching up with your friends or work colleagues in a neon low light atmosphere complimented with pop music. You might take a sip of the Virgin Colada or maybe you’re a Passionfruit Martini kind of guy or gal, it doesn’t matter as all the Mocktails are £5.

Going out during dry January is a breeze this month, with all these gorgeous venues to try out, so don’t worry about turning your friends down. Sit down and relax as you take a sip of the fruity concoction.
