What’s on in Gloucester this weekend

It’s the last weekend of the Easter holidays for many, so make the most of weekend, whatever the weather.

We’ve compiled a list of the best things you can do to enjoy the end of the holidays:

An evening of mediumship with Nikki Kitt

Where: The Kings Theater Gloucester

When: Satuday 14th April at 7:30pm

Who: Nikki Kitt is a psychic and spiritualist medium.

What: The evening with Nikki hopes to provide evidence of life after death by giving messages to people in the audience from loved ones who have passed away.

Gloucester City Parkrun

Where: Gloucester Park

When: Saturday 14th April at 9am

What: A group of runners meet to do three laps of Gloucester park against the clock. The course is 5K long on a mixture of tarmac, trail paths and grass. Marshals or signs will be at key sections of the course.

Secret Book Garden at the Quays

Where: Gloucester Quays

When: Friday 30th March till Sunday 15th April

What: Enjoy the Secret Book Garden, a literacy inspired event at the Quays this Easter break. There will be decorated tepees, food, drink and many different guests.

Live band at Café Rene

Where: Café Rene Gloucester city centre

When: Friday 13th April 2018 11pm

What: Head down to Café Rene to see Smiley & The Underclass. This rebellious band echo’s the sounds of The Clash and Dylan with a west London sound infused with bass heavy Jamaican sounds.

Gloucester Murder Mystery Day

Where: Gloucester Town

When: Saturday 14th April 2018

What: Solve clues across Gloucester Town centre, completing challenges and puzzles. Track down witnesses and eliminate suspects, with many prizes up for grabs.
