Scientists have warned of more lockdown rule-breakers as the Covid 19 vaccination rate increases.
The news comes after a group of eight were arrested at Stonehenge yesterday, after they travelled to the tourist hotspot from London.
The Government advisory body SAGE has warned that if people start abandoning the rules early, positive effects of the vaccine will be outweighed by an increase in new cases.
We know the vaccination offers protection against illness, but it is still unclear as to whether those vaccinated can spread the virus.
According to Sky News, SAGE believes there should be a public awareness campaign with ‘timely intervention’ if people continue to ignore Government guidance.
