NBA: Jaylen Brown Steals The Show In Brooklyn As Boston Celtics Begin Road Trip With A Win

Boston Celtics ruthlessly ended the Brooklyn Nets’ four game winning streak last night as they came out 103-92 winners at the Barclays Center thanks to an electrifying performance by none other than Jaylen Brown who finished the game on a terrific 34 points and 10 rebounds.

Taking last night’s performance into account Brown has now earned himself a whopping 97 points in his last three matches for the Celtics with the 26-year-old showing no sign of stopping.

It was an evening of constant Celtics onslaught as one of Boston’s other fierce assets Jayson Tatum sealed the victory for the New Englanders with less than two minutes to go in the final quarter.

A routine three pointer from near the mid-court was enough to make sure the C’s claimed the win with interim head coach Joe Mazzulla impressed with his team’s overall performance saying post-match, “I was very proud of the way our guys defended”.

On the other hand, it’s safe to say it was a game to forget for the Nets as they look to improve on their disappointing start to this current NBA campaign with the team sitting in eighth place despite being victors four times out of their last five games.

Sharing his post-match reaction Celtic’s star Brown spoke to NBC Sports Boston:

“Tonight, was a great game, I think me and Jay [Tatum] played Bothe sides of the ball tonight and when we lead the way everybody else has got to join in.

“I saw Sam [Hauser] with a LeBron chase down block tonight which is what I like to see. I love to play this game; I work hard, and I improve.

“To get caught up accolades, how people feel and the politics in the game is not really my concern. I want to get to the playoffs; I want to get and show what I can do there.”
