Europa League round of 16 draw: West Ham United v Sevilla, Rangers v Crvena Zvezda

David Moyes’ West Ham United have been drawn against Spanish giants Sevilla, whilst Rangers will face Serbian champions Crvena Zvezda in the Europa League round of 16.

The Hammers topped Group H, securing automatic passage to the round of 16, where they will face the Andulcian club, who are six-time Europa League champions.

Rangers beat Borussia Dortmund 6-4 on aggregate in a knockout qualifier to advance this far, in what is being hailed as the biggest result in Europe in Rangers’ modern history.

Next to stand in their path is the team known in English as Red Star Belgrade, a historic club who were European Cup champions in 1990/91.

Other marquee ties include Porto taking on Lyon, and Barcelona facing Galatasaray.

Lyon will travel to Porto’s Estadio do Dragao, host venue for the 2020/21 Champions League final.

RB Leipzig’s away leg against Spartak Moscow will be played at a neutral venue after UEFA confirmed all matches due to be hosted in either Russia or Ukraine will have to be relocated in light of the conflict between the two nations.
