After the fun and games of the 2021 All Star break the serious stuff returns with 11 games staring tonight and going into the early morning. Here are some games to watch out for if you’re planning on having a late night or watching the highlights in the morning.
Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets
Plenty of all stars on show here with two of the best teams in the East going head to head. Blake Griffin could make his debut for the Nets after signing for them last week. He will join James Harden and Kyrie Irving at the Barclays Centre tonight but Kevin Durant will still be out with a hamstring injury. On the opposite side the Celtics all stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will both be in action along with point guard Kemba Walker. It looks an exciting clash but you have to fancy Brooklyn with the way they were playing before the all star break and the inconsistency the Celtics have been demonstrating of late.

Golden State Warriors @ Los Angeles Clippers
A really exciting California showdown here with two of the better teams in the West facing off. Steph Curry starred at all star weekend winning the three point contest and pulling up from half court and draining threes in the game. On the opposite end Paul George and Kawhi Leonard have quietly been going about their business with the Clippers in joint second place in the Western Conference. It looks like it could be a high scoring close game but I expect the Clippers may come out on top on the road.

Another clash featuring high scoring teams the Suns are having an excellent season and find themselves joint second in the Western Conference. The Trailblazers are just behind however and with Dame Lillard and the returning CJ McCollum they boast one of the best backcourts in the NBA. The Suns are a great all round team and although they have stars in Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker it is how they play together as a unit that has led to their success this season. This is a really tight one to call but I fancy the Suns to continue their impressive season
