Knife threats made between teenage gangs in Lydney

Four teenagers have been arrested in connection to a public fight, which took place between two gangs on Forest Road, Lydney.

The fight took place between two groups of teenagers who are reported to have made several threats to injure one another through the use of knives and other currently unidentified weapons.

Two 15 year-old boys and one 16 year-old from Chepstow have been arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. One 15 year-old from Caldicott has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

Reports were made to Gloucestershire Police at around 6:45pm on January 8th and the police are appealing for any witnesses or information on the incident.

The four boys involved in the mass confrontation have been released on bail upon further enquiry.

The altercation is said to have involved a large number of teenage boys however is only being considered as an isolated incident at the moment.
