Johann Ackermann has made fifteen changes to the side that faced Newcastle in the Anglo Welsh Cup last weekend. Robert Rees has the latest on their team news.

There are some big omissions with New Zealand lock Jeremy Thrush and Welsh duo Richard Hubbard and Owen Williams all missing out on the squad. Willi Heinz captains the side with Jake Polledri, Ruan Ackermann and James Hanson all returning to the starting xv.

Leicester have also named their squad this morning and it see’s the return of Manu Tuilagi and Matt Toomua in the centre of the park. Tom Young captains amongst an experienced front row and Scotland’s Luke Hamilton returns to the bench alongside Australian international Tatafu Polota-Nau. Gloucester face Leicester this Saturday a Kingsholm, kicking of at 2.30pm.
West Country derby date announced
The date for Gloucester’s West Country derby against Bath has been revealed today and will see the teams lock horns on Saturday 28th April.
