Five players from the Cherry and Whites have been selected to play for their respective home countries for the Six Nations Championship.
29 year-old hooker George McGuigan was picked for Steve Borthwick’s first England squad, after joining the Cherry and Whites before Christmas. He is yet to make his international debut. England begin their Six Nations campaign with back-to-back home games at Twickenham. They will play Scotland then Italy.
Welsh wing Louis Rees-Zammit is currently out injured but looking for a mid-tournament return. He made his Welsh debut under former coach Wayne Pivac and went on to win 22 caps since.
Scottish centre Chris Harris was selected for his nation and has 40 caps for Scotland since making his debut against Wales in 2018.
Duo Stephen Varney and Jake Polledri were called up for the Italian training squad. The Gloucester Rugby academy graduates have 34 caps between them for the Azzurri.
