Another Fantasy Premier League gameweek is upon us.
Last week was a largely successful one for FPL players, with many Manchester City and Southampton players receiving double digit hauls in their fixtures.
The deadline to make transfers for your team is at 18:30 on Friday, with Newcastle United taking on Aston Villa to see in the weekend of Premier League action.
Here are four players you should think about putting in your team:
Defender: Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa)
Price: ÂŁ4.6m
Ownership: 6.9%
Fixture: Newcastle United (A)
Konsa is a cheap way to get into a Villa defence who have conceded just two goals in their last six games.
A trip to St James’ Park to face a goal-shy Newcastle side seems like the perfect fixture for Villa. Newcastle are still without Miguel Almiron, Callum Wilson and Alan Saint-Maximin, and the Magpies have struggled in their absence, netting just twice in four games.
Registering three shots in his two most recent fixtures, the centre-back is a big threat from set-pieces. Konsa also plays in blank gameweek 29.
Midfielder: Mason Mount (Chelsea)
Price: ÂŁ7.0m
Ownership: 14.1%
Fixture: Leeds United (A)
Mount will be feeling fresh for the trip to Elland Road having been rested in Chelsea’s comfortable 2-0 win over Everton.
The England international has continued to prosper under new manager Thomas Tuchel, scoring three goals in seven starts, including one in a real coming of age performance in a 1-0 against Liverpool at Anfield.
With the fourth leakiest defence in the division, Leeds may struggle to deal with the Blues.
Midfielder: Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)
Price: ÂŁ5.8m
Ownership: 1.0%
Fixture: West Bromwich Albion (H)
A huge differential option with just 1% ownership, Eze faces a West Brom side who have conceded 56 goals this season (seven more than the next highest total).
The tricky midfielder is without an attacking return since gameweek 22, but he could be boosted by the return of talismanic figure Wilfried Zaha to the Palace side.
Registering an assist in the 5-1 triumph at the Hawthorns earlier in the season, Eze could get another long overdue attacking points haul.
Striker: Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City)
Price: ÂŁ5.6m
Ownership: 1.0%
Fixture: Sheffield United (H)
A Leicester striker other than Jamie Vardy!? Iheanacho has been in great form for the Foxes, scoring in his last two starts, repaying the faith shown in him by manager Brendan Rodgers.
Nine shots in his last three game also shows that the Nigerian isn’t afraid to shoot – increasing the potential of attacking points.
At such a small price and ownership, the ex-Manchester City forward is a great option to face rock-bottom Sheffield United, especially to those who are offloading injured Southampton striker Danny Ings and searching for a budget-friendly replacement.
