UFC: Conor McGregor to Meet Dana White to Discuss Future

Conor McGregor is set to meet UFC President Dana White in Liverpool to discuss his future with the company.

It has been 558 days since McGregor last fought in the UFC, following his boxing match versus Floyd Mayweather and the birth of his first child.

The 29-year-old was charged with counts of assault and one of criminal mischief, after he attacked a UFC fighter’s coach on April 5th.

He is set to return to a New York Courtroom on June 14th.

However, White said when they meet, he will offer no help to McGregor with the any of the legal issues he is currently facing.

Speaking to ESPN, White said: “We’re going to sit down and talk about his future and what’s next.

“I have nothing to do with the legal issues, he’ll need to figure that out on his own.”

White will be trying to judge where McGregor’s “head is at professionally” after his actions in April and the subsequent consequences.

The first ever two-weight world champion was stripped of both his Featherweight and Lightweight titles due to inactivity, which tainted the relationship between the McGregor and White.

The Irishman’s forays into other markets, such as boxing and promoting, have left fans questioning if he will ever return.

If the talks are successful, we may see the ‘Notorious’ one back in the octagon before the end of the year.
