From browsing extensive gin menus to enjoying a night of jazz, you’ll have no shortage of things to get up to as Park Life share their top things to do this weekend.
Try Ginuary
Forget Dry January, it’s all about Ginuary. Dedicated to anything and everything juniper based, this movement is one we can certainly get behind, and luckily for us, Cheltenham has no shortage of gin. John Gordons, Lily Gins and The Tivoli are just a selection of the places on offer serving various concoctions of the strong stuff. Why not head down to town and celebrate (in moderation!) the joy of gin?

Visit the theatre
Graham Dalby and The London Swing Orchestra return to The Everyman Theatre with an exciting programme The Great Legends of Jazz and Swing on Saturday evening. Featuring classics including The Charleston and Come Fly With Me and with tickets from just £19, it’s too good to miss.
Explore the Wilson
For museum lovers or simply just those who are curious about the goings-on, the Wilson Art Gallery and Museum is holding an exhibition letting visitors access behind-the-scenes content. A Window into the Wilson is open 9:30am-3:15pm Saturday and 11am-4pm Sunday, and offers a look into the processes involved in looking after their collections.
Tuck into a steak
Cheltenham’s former 1920’s cinema-turned-restaurant The Daffodil is hosting its first Steak Night of 2018 on Friday, a popular evening out for locals and visitors alike. With four cuts of beef, your choice of side and sauce and a bottle of wine for just £50 per couple in an art deco style setting, it’s the ultimate foodie’s dream.
Watch a match
Cheltenham Town are set to play Accrington Stanley on Saturday at home at Whaddon Road. After signing two new forwards, there’s set to be a strong lineup for the home side when the match kicks off at 3pm!
