Park Campus
The University Gloucestershire campus is currently running asymptomatic testing for its students following governments advice for the Christmas period.
The antigen test does not require laboratory processing and can turnaround results within an hour.
Students are eligible to receive two tests before returning home for the Christmas Holidays.
The NHS is also using the campus car-park for people using the NHS Test and Trace app. The drive-through tests can be booked via NHS 199.
The symptomatic testing is taking across December: 3th-6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th.
Bishops Cleeve (Cheltenham North RFC)
The NHS is temporarily running corona-virus testing in Bishops Cleeve on December 15th and 16th, for people using the NHS Test and Trace app.
The symptomatic testing is taking place at Cheltenham North RFC.
Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham Racecourse near Prestbury could be used as a mass coronavirus testing centre for Gloucestershire residents.
According to Greatest Hits Radio, it hasn’t been confirmed whether the entire racecourse or just part of it, will be used as a vaccination centre.
The Racecourse’s indoor venue, The Centaur, is one of the largest of its kind in the South West region. It can hold more than 2,000 seats for conferences and space for around 4,000 people standing.
