Cheltenham Pride is a way to encourage continuing support for the LGBTQ+ community, allowing their voices to be heard, and upholding diversity and inclusion in the town.
“We’ve sponsored pride for a number of years, and we’ve got a good relationship with them, so we are sponsoring them again this year,” says Francesca Inman, the Chief Executive of the Cheltenham BID, which collaborates with and supports nearly 800 levy-paying businesses in the town.
“That does mean our logo will be everywhere, but what it also means is it’s really important because it goes right through the centre of the town.”

16 May 2026 – A day to celebrate pride as a community.
A colourful pride march is set to take place along the High Street starting at 12pm, outside John Lewis, 123 High Street, Cheltenham GL50 1DQ. It’s a march to raise awareness and unite the Town’s LBTQ+ community together.
The festival is located at Imperial Gardens, Cheltenham, GL50 1QA, from 1-7pm.
“If you want to come and get involved in the march, we have done a big PR piece with pride,” says Francesca.

There will be live entertainment throughout the day with over 20 acts.
Hosted by Tray La Trash and Phillupa Bucket, and featuring performances from Adam All, Russel Jones Jr, Carrie Sauce and Tia Callum. With Headliner’s Big Brovaz and Booty Luv taking centre stage with their iconic 2000’s anthems, making it a pride to remember.
There are also extra Cheltenham Pride festival features.

Francesca says she hopes the festival will not only bring in footfall, but also spend in shops and in the businesses.
However, the celebration does not stop there. Party all night long at Maggie’s After Party at 37 Regent St – 7pm-6am with tickets at £2.
She says, “We are hoping that people will get involved in Pride, but also stick around after to see what the Town has to offer.”
