Michael Van Gerwen set for Cheltenham Masters

Two-time world champion Michael van Gerwen has announced his involvement in the Cheltenham Masters 2018 tournament.

The Dutchman, known as “Mighty Mike”, announced his involvement via Twitter and will be joined by a host of other notable players including Raymond van Barneveld, Simon Whitlock, Darryl Fitton and more.

Van Gerwen was a shock exit in the World Championships last year,  after he lost his semi-final tie against Rob Cross in dramatic fashion.

Tickets are on sale with the tournament being held at Cheltenham Racecourse on the 24th February.
