There is lots of non-league action in Gloucestershire to get to this weekend with the five teams that are step four or above all having a home match up. Here’s a look at what’s at stake for the sides.
The TV cameras are on their way to Nailsworth as Forest Green Rovers take on York City at 5:30pm on Saturday, live on DAZN. It’s first meets second at step one, with the Yorkshire side leading the way by one point. The home side are unbeaten in the league since late September, but York have only lost one league game all season, at home to Boston in August.

At step three, Gloucester City find themselves two points off Merthyr Town at the top of the Southern Premier Division South. This weekend, Gloucester take on Bracknell Town, who sit ninth currently. It has been a poor start to the month with only two points from two games against Basingstoke and Sholing.
Three sides from Gloucestershire are in action in the Southern League Division One South. Bishop’s Cleeve, who were defeated away last week by Helston Athletic, host Mousehole at Kayte Lane. Cinderford Town are still adapting to life at step four, after a year out last season, they got their third win of the season last week at Falmouth and will be hoping to back that up at home to Larkhall Athletic. Playoff chasing Evesham United are also at home, hosting third place Helston Athletic.

In the Hellenic League Premier Division, 18th place side Brimscombe & Thrupp play host to an all Gloucestershire match up as they take on Slimbridge, who currently sit tenth. League leaders Hartpury University will hope to continue what is starting to look like a brilliant season, when they travel to 16th place Thornbury Town. The voluntary step down in division for Cirencester Town has seen the season become a learning process, but last weeks 3-0 win away at Longlevens will give them confidence heading into their clash with Pershore Town. Longlevens, themselves, will hope to bounce back from that defeat at a difficult away trip to Corsham Town.
It sixth versus seventh at Cinder Lane as Fairford Town host Worcester Raiders, with both sides looking to move into the playoff spots. Lydney Town drew against relegation rivals Brimscombe last weekend, and will hope that Mangotsfield at home, will provide an opportunity to build some momentum. Tuffley Rovers are having a positive 24/25 season but will have to be at the best as they travel to Roman Glass St George.
