Gloucester rugby’s Henry Walker, Alex Seville and Aaron Hinkley have been named in England’s 23 man squad to face Wales this Friday. Walker starts at hooker with his teammates lining up as replacements.
Wales lie top of the table after round one with England unbeaten in third. England will; be looking to use their home advantage to keep their winning streak alive following six changes from their victory over Italy.
Scrum half Ben White captains the side following on from his U20 debut against the Italians in round one. Toby Trinder is named at loosehead prop with lock Sam Lewis, flanker Josh Basham and wing Jordan Olowofela starting for the first time at U20 level, having also made their debuts against Italy.
Head coach Steve Bates said: “We had a good victory against Italy last Friday in difficult conditions and made a solid start to the tournament.
“The players have recovered very quickly from that opening match and the sessions we’ve had this week have been extremely competitive and focused.
“Some of the changes we’ve made have been enforced as we’ve lost players back to their clubs for the weekend’s Premiership fixtures which is a great opportunity for them.”
