Forest Green Rovers defender Jordan Moore-Taylor a doubt ahead of Crawley Town clash

Jordan Moore-Taylor has been confirmed as a doubt by manager Rob Edwards ahead of Forest Green Rovers’ trip to Crawley Town this weekend.

The 28 year old came off with a shin injury in the second half of the defeat to Walsall last week and it appears to have stuck around as the week has progressed.

Moore-Taylor has been integral for Rovers this season, playing 26 of the teams 31 league games.

Edwards spoke to the media today and gave an update on the situation.

“He trained today so we’ll have to see how he is.

“It’s [shin] not fully right so we’ll see how he is ahead of Saturday.

“Everyone else is alright which again is very good news for the group.”

If unavailable Edwards won’t be short of cover for Moore-Taylor, with both Dan Sweeney and Dom Bernard waiting to step up and take his place.

The Gloucestershire outfit begin a run of three away games in a row this weekend and will be hoping to bounce back at the first time of asking off the back of their first loss since October on Saturday.
