Running for a whopping 6 weeks, from the 26th November – 9th January, there will be plenty of time to make a visit to the Panto.

Starring performers include Darius James as Jack, Gabriela Gregorian as Princess Susan, Samuel Holmes as Fleshcreep, Kevin Brewis as Dame Trott and Kane Verrall as The Spirit of the Unicorn.

Laughs, fun, and cheesy songs galore, Jack and the Beanstalk at the Everyman Theatre will be a joyous occasion for the whole family. Appealing to all generations, kids can bop about in their seats to the songs whilst adults can humour themselves with the corny jokes.

This year’s panto will be providing more accessible performances, Wednesday 5th January, at 10:30 and 16:30 will be relaxed performances, ideal for viewers with sensory issues.

The staff and performers at the Everyman are eagerly awaiting the launch of Panto after last year’s run was forced to be cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Many performers have had little stage work in the last year, so the chance to strut their stuff on the big stage again is an exciting prospect.

Coronavirus has caused many theatres to suffer in the last 2 years, and although the Everyman has managed to maintain themselves well, buying a ticket helps to keep the theatre alive whilst also giving you a good laugh in the process.

The shows script writer, Sam Holmes is particularly excited that Pantomimes are returning, in an interview with Punchline Gloucester he said,

“It’s so exciting to be back at rehearsals with a full cast and a full show” also adding, “there really is something for everyone and its going to be truly magical”. You heard it here first, Jack and the Beanstalk is a must see!
