Ex-Forest Green Rovers midfielder Drissa Traore is set to sign for Tranmere Rovers after being released by the club on Monday.
The Ivorian left the Gloucestershire club after a mutually agreed contract termination and has seemingly confirmed, on Twitter, where his next challenge is. Tranmere have not yet officially confirmed the signing.
First of all a massive thanks to @FGRFC_Official and the fans I had a great season and beautiful finish with the promotion at Wembley last season and all the best to the team. Now I’ve joined @TranmereRovers I can’t wait to star this new challenge

The 25-year-old, who joined the club in the summer of 2016, made 59 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The central-midfielder was an important part of the promotion side last season and played against Tranmere in the National League play-off final at Wembley in May.
He will follow in the footsteps of defender Manny Monthe who has also joined Tranmere, on loan until the end of the season.
