The A436 has reopened following a serious collision between the junctions for Kilkenny and Andoversford, the A436 Seven Springs roundabout and the A417 Air Balloon roundabout.
Police were called shortly after 11.15am to the A436 near Pegglesworth on the yesterday morning following a collision between a lorry and car.
Police have confirmed that one person has died and three others have been seriously injured.
The road remained closed for over 8 hours following the crash, affecting traffic between Gloucester and Oxford.
No more information has been released this morning following the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t yet spoken to the police is asked to call 101 quoting incident 98 of 17th January.
