Wolves have sacked head coach Bruno Lage after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham left them 18th in the Premier League table.
Lage’s side won just one of their opening eight league games, a 1-0 victory over Southampton, and have just six points.
Wolves are the league’s lowest-scoring team, with two goals from Daniel Podence and one long-range effort from Ruben Neves all they have managed.
The club have announced that coaches Steve Davis and James Collins will be in charge of the team for the game against Graham Potter’s Chelsea on Saturday.
