It has been announced that Warren Gatland will return as the head coach of the Welsh National side after Wayne Pivac was relieved of his duties by the Welsh Rugby Union.
Pivac replaced Gatland following the World Cup in 2019 and coached the side to a Six Nations win in 2021.
However, 2022 has been a dismal year for Wales, finishing 5th in the Six Nations, losing to Italy in the process and following a series defeat in South Africa, Wales had a difficult autumn blowing a big lead against the Wallabies, having lost to lowly ranked Georgia the week before.

A year out from the World Cup Wales have decided to take action removing Pivac and returning to Gatland who in his first spell was incredibly successful , leading Wales to four Six Nations titles, three of which were grand slams and he also guided them to two World Cup semi-finals during his tenure.
