Gloucester-Hartpury intend to maintain their rampant form this weekend as they face Loughborough at home.
The women are currently unbeaten in the Premier 15s with an impressive set of scores. This includes a 52-5 victory over Worcester last week and prior to that, 61-0 over DMP Sharks, 53-7 against Saracens and 67-3 to Wasps.
Last season when Glos-Hartpury faced Loughborough both games were extremely close. Loughborough grasped the first game, winning by just two points and the second game of the season was a 19-19 draw.
Their have been some significant changes to the Cherry and Whites team since their most recent fixture. The most crucial being last weeks two time try scorer Sisilia Tuipulotu who has moved from the bench to start at second row.
Tuipulotu says: “As a team we feel prepared and ready for the game this weekend. Everything we’ve done in training this week is all for the game tomorrow.”
The international star clearly impressed last week with her fighting efforts to get the ball over the line, she explains: “It would be good to get another try if I can but if not then thats the way the game will be. I’m mainly just grateful to get the chance to play.”
The other changes in the forwards consist of, Zoe Aldercroft moving to eight with Kathryn Buggy and Connie Powell replacing Cara Hope and Neve Jones in the front row.
In the back line we only see one change with Ellie Rugman replacing Mia Vennner at centre.
Loughborough will need to step up and bring a strong side down to Gloucester if they want to shake up the competition.
