Chelsea collected their first win under Thomas Tuchel against Burnley on Sunday, while Tottenham lost back-to-back league games for the second time this season.

Spurs currently sit in 7th place and lead Chelsea on goal difference but both teams could leapfrog Everton to move into the Europa League qualifying places with a victory.

The Blues are unbeaten in their last four league games against Tottenham (W3 D1), although Chelsea lost on penalties at Spurs in the EFL Cup fourth round in September 2020.

BT Sport commentator Ian Darke says: “There is the history of the battle of Stamford Bridge. The year Tottenham were in the title race and got foiled and then it all kicked off.

“You’ve got Jose Mourinho’s mind games before the game saying that it’s easy to win things at Chelsea just to put extra pressure on Thomas Tuchel.

“Don’t think he’s buying it though. So far he’s had two home games, they haven’t let in a goal yet. I covered there game against Burnley. They did the job well without looking particularly sparkling.

“Spurs have gone off the boil. Harry Kane is missing as well. He’s back next week we’re told so I can see pretty tight, tense and spikey encounter there. I’ll go for a draw.”
