Fourth tier Bridgwater are currently top of the FA Women’s National League Division One South West, having won all seven of their fixtures so far.

Swindon meanwhile progressed to the fourth round last season before crashing out in a 10-0 humiliation at the hands of Charlton Athletic. The season before, they failed to make it past the first round after losing at home to Gwalia United.
In light of this, Wood was eager to emphasise that “The cups are really important for us this year, they give us an opportunity to go for something and have a bit of enjoyment. We had a great experience last year, and it’s important to have those aspects to the season.”
