Cirencester Town’s Benjamin Whitehead and Larkhall Athletic’s Jack Pearson-Brown both scored once to bring last night’s result to a 1-1 draw.
Whitehead scored the first goal of the game for Cirencester in the 47th minute, curling a shot from the wide right into the far corner in a fantastic display of talent.
Pearson-Brown then scored the final goal of the match, an 81st minute equaliser in his debut game for the Larkhall side.
Cirencester Town move on to face a top of the league Frome Town, just one point ahead of Cirencester, this Saturday.
Unlucky tonight @CirenTownFC in conceding a late equaliser against a physical Larkhall side. Some lovely passing tonight, a wonder goal from Ben and Sherriff resolute in defence. Let’s get at Frome on Saturday and good luck to Larkhall at Stockport 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️ pic.twitter.com/1eeXBxMPTy

The first 15 minutes were clinical from both sides with neither team giving an inch.
The following 30 minutes were just as competitive, resulting in a 0-0 first half.
The Gloucestershire side only needed two minutes in the second half to sneak one in. A miracle goal from Whitehead secured the lead for Cirencester in the 47th minute.
In the 53rd minute, the Larks subbed Mike Baker for Evans, and in the 64th, a debut for Pearson saw Baz Simons make way.
To round out the subs of the match, Cirencester brought on Joshua Grace-Parsons for Whitehead in the 70th minute.
By the 81st minute, the game looked over, but Larkhall found an opening and Pearson scored the equaliser bringing the match to 1-1 with nine minutes to go.
Larkhall will now look to Stockport County in the FA Trophy fourth round on Saturday, playing at the exact same time as Cirencester who take on Frome at 15:00.
