Police are appealing for information after a woman was spat in the face by a runner in Brockworth.
The incident took place on Ermin Street on Sunday 10 January in the morning. The victim had been driving down the road when a female runner stepped in front of the car as she was crossing the road.
The car just missed the runner, believing it caused the woman to become agitated which created a disagreement between the two, ending with the runner spitting in the victim’s face.

The female runner is described as being 40-years-old, white with blonde and brown hair, and was wearing a navy beanie, dark body warmer and running leggings. She was also reported to be with a man with dark hair and muscular build, also in running gear.
The police are taking the assault seriously, with such a crime causing a high risk to the victim due to the rise of COVID-19 cases in the county.
Gloucestershire police are keen to identify the woman and the man, and have encouraged anyone with information to contact police using their website.
