Lincoln City defender TJ Eyoma is currently gearing up for his sides League One match against MK Dons on Saturday but has briefly been catching up with Park Life Sport on his time in the England Youth sides.
The 2017 England under-17 side will go down as one of the most talented ever after lifting the u17 India World Cup, and Eyoma was firmly part of that side.
“We were such a talented groups with the likes of Phil Foden, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jaden Sancho and the list goes on,” remembers Eyoma.
“It was crazy for me because I was playing in the World Cup, away in India for a month. When we won it was mental, a moment I’ll never forgot.”

“At the time I was at right-back and Phil (Foden) was right-wing so I just used to give the ball to Phill and he would just take care of the rest,” said Eyoma.

“I actually played against Haaland in a friendly, he was lanky, tall, loved to shoot. I could see he was going to be a top player”.
Steve Cooper’s side won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Jaden Sancho, assisted by ex-Manchester United teammate Angel Gomes.
