Is It clash of the titans this week or are we underestimating a iconic title battle ahead of Arsenal Man City?

As the Premier League season has knocked down and all teams have played their opening seven games we’ve seen insight on what to expect from who this year, and last year Arsenal pushed City hard before their ship sank towards the end of the season and many expect for a due course repeat of last season as we build up towards their clash this weekend at the Emirates. But i don’t think it will be as plain sailing for the two sides this season.

Who needs to win ahead of Arsenal Man City

We’ve seen Man City on top for a number of seasons now and their class is unmatched on the day but a rejuvenated Arsenal side lead the way for months of the season last year and had Man City concerned at moments as they trailed by 9 points at one stage in the season and previews ahead of the match on Saturday seemed to be basing it on a “title clash” but i think otherwise.

As two sides have started the season exceptionally this year with the first being Tottenham, and to be frankly honest it looks like a completely different team from last year as new manager Postecoglou has lead the North London side to an unbeaten start this year with five wins and two draws and they have already taken points of their North London rivals arsenal in a 2-2 draw earlier on this season and their most recent five star performance saw them beat Liverpool 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Which leads us onto our next challengers who have had a statement start to the season, Liverpool although they lost to Spurs last weekend that game can be voided in many eyes with a horrendous VAR decision costing them a goal and playing with 9 men for half the match their efforts were respected, but aside from that their start to the season has also been eye catching with a re modified midfield Klopp has got his men to snippets of their title winning side 2019/20 season winning five and drawing the other.

The Premier League seems to get more competitive each year and it is the most competitive league in the world as Newcastle who sit eighth have just beaten French giants PSG 4-1 in remarkable fashion in the champions league, which makes you realise the brilliance required to win a Premier League title in the modern day era.

Furthermore these four sides sit in the top 4 in order of, City, Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool currently and i would not be surprised if it was something similar come May 19th and more importantly the order in which the four are decided i could not tell you.
