The rise in environmental consciousness has been exponential, certainly helped by the Coronavirus pandemic. In the UK, spending over half of the year locked away in our homes has meant that as a population, we’ve generally had more time to digest our consumer habits and the affect these are having on the environment.
The generational divide when discussing consumerism is apparent. Recycling wasn’t really introduced in the UK until as late as the 1960’s.
