Louis Rees-Zammit plays as wing for Gloucester Rugby and in the last year has had a big rise to fame after being called up to the Wales squad for the 2020 Six Nations.

In 2019, he became Gloucester’s youngest player on the Senior team and in the Premiership. That same year in December he received Premiership Player of the Month Award. At the end of his 2020-21 season with Gloucester Rugby, Rees-Zammit was named Gloucester’s Young Player of the Year.

He began his international career with Wales at under-18 level and had his first call up to the Senior squad on January 15th 2020. After his major appearances in both Six Nations in 2020 and 2021, Rees-Zammit had dreams accomplished when he was named in the squad for the 2021 British & Irish Lions Tour.

It’s no surprise really why Rees-Zammit has been nominated for this award, he’s had a massively successful career so far and there will be so much more to see from him in the future years.
