People in Cheltenham and Gloucester are relying on food banks more than ever before, with a 56% rise in the last year. The cost-of-living crisis has left people struggling to feed their families, and worried about how they are going to pay their energy bills, with many working extra hours to make ends meet. Since March, the number of parcels handed out to the community has gone up from 150 to 300 parcels a week, and food banks have not been able to keep up with the demand.
