Cheltenham’s Guide to Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching, but in Cheltenham it’s approaching the fastest. Navigating entertainment around the stresses of Christmas shopping and preparation is no mean feat, so here’s everything you need to know about the lead up to Christmas in Cheltenham to ensure that yours is Merry and Bright.

Christmas Markets

Cheltenham is hosting not one, but two markets this year! The first is the Christmas Gift Market from the 16th-19th November. This will include food and drink stalls, homeware, and trinkets. The second is the Arts and Crafts Market selling pottery, original art, glassware, jewellery, and much more. This will be lining Cheltenham’s Promenade from the 14th-23rd December.

Lights On!

Lining the streets and weaved around Cheltenham’s foliage, are the very lights that set off the official launch of Christmas in the town centre on 16th November from 4-7pm. For more information, go here. But the fun doesn’t end there, Pittville Pump Room gets its own light ceremony on 25th November from 3-7pm accompanied by mulled wine, mince pies, and Santa of course.
