Amadou Bakayoko is set to sign for Forest Green Rovers.
The forward has been targeted by The Greens since December of 2022 and have been waiting for the January transfer window in order to make a move.
The 27-year-old has 31 goals and 17 assists to his name, in a total of 213 EFL League One and Two appearances.
Bakayoko has fallen out of favour recently at The Wanderers with his only goal this season coming against Burton Albion coming off the bench in a 2-1 win.
The Sierra Leone international’s most recent appearance was against Portsmouth in a 1-0 win that claimed Bolton a spot in the semi-final of the Papa John’s Trophy.
Bakayoko has only made 20 league appearances this season and only started five of them with 15 of them coming off the bench.
