A look ahead.
Cheltenham Town Women are back in league action this Sunday as they take on Fulham away at Motspur Park.
This is the first time these teams meet, after Fulham won promotion to Tier three last season.
Cheltenham currently sit in ninth in the league despite a massive 5-1 win over Swindon Town midweek.
Whereas The Cottagers sit second in their first ever season in tier three after big wins over the top five in the league, their form is frightening with four wins out of five.
Cheltenham Manager Tom Davis describes the match up as “tough, at home Fulham move the ball really well, they use the pitch really well and it will be a difficult task for us, but a different one.”
However, Davis is hoping to put a stop to Fulham’s attack “we’ve got to keep adapting, we keep learning and the performances keep getting better,” with Cheltenham really needing a win to keep them safe from the relegation zone.
