We’ve had equestrian, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, but what events are coming up for Team Glos?
This year’s Varsity kicked off to a great start and the current score is 7-4 to Worcester, the opposing team have won Badminton (men’s, women’s, mixed), women’s volleyball, table tennis, basketball, futsal. Team Glos have won equestrian, men’s volleyball, dance & netball, and UoG’s dance team won for the first time in four years yesterday.
The student union’s sport officer, Alex Burnett says: “My favourite events so far have been dance, and an incredible performance from our men’s basketball team. The vibe in the arena was great, we really club together to support all of our teams, regardless of what the score was.”
“We’ve got plenty of sporting action left to come so make sure to head along to the rest of the games, and support our teams.”
An incredible performance by @UOGMBasketball this evening – a great game to watch. An unfortunate loss, which takes the overall varsity score to 6-4 to Worcester. #TeamGlos #Varsity18
