The dogs are back in the Sanctuary on Park campus.
Archie, a working Cocker Spaniel, and Rizzo, a mixed breed Terrier and Spaniel, are two regulars in the Park Campus who come in to socialise with students.
Jo, the university campus Chaplain, is the owner of the two dogs. “We’ve been doing it for 5/6 years. Students used to say they were really missing their pets, and with pets you get that unconditional love. It makes them feel safe.”
“The uni didn’t let us bring dogs into the Sanctuary, but during the pandemic we persuaded them, to let us bring the dogs onto campus”.
