Still hopeful after a disappointing loss, Volleyball Club Captain Charlie Lambert is proud of his team’s performance.
University of Gloucestershire lost 3-2 to UWE (Bristol), however it was a close game at home.
Opposite Hitter and captain Charlie Lambert described his team as âshowing a lot of heartâ.
Despite the loss at Plock Court âitâs probably one of the best weâve played so far this seasonâ
Still looking for their first win, Lambert saw potential from their performance.
âOur blocks were terrifying; some of the other players team look scared to be close to the ballâ
Charlie also described the progress of his team from the beginning of the season to now,
âOur attacking and defending have gotten much betterâ
Training sessions going forward are important to Lambert to improve ahead of their next game against Aberystwyth next Wednesday.
âWe need to work on our communication; I donât think weâre doing it enough. Thatâs something I’ll be grilling into training next week.â
