Today may just be an ordinary Thursday for the vast majority in the UK, but NFL fans are spoilt with three matches to look forward to this evening, as America celebrates Thanksgiving Day.
The Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys are among the six teams in action, and both teams could be top of their divisions with wins tonight.
But first, kicking off at 5.30pm GMT, the winless Detroit Lions host the Chicago Bears in a divisional match-up in the NFC North.
The Bears are almost as luckless, with a 3-7 record, so there’ll be real optimism and hope from the home team that they can finally pick up their first win of the season.
In fact, reports came out this week that Bears head coach Matt Nagy’s position is under serious consideration but he’s denied rumours that he will be fired following the trip to Detroit.
Then at 9.30pm GMT, the Dallas Cowboys continue their tradition of hosting a Thanksgiving match at AT&T Stadium, with the 5-5 Las Vegas Raiders the visitors.
The Cowboys are top of the NFC East and have won each of their last three matches against the Raiders, but lost their previous match to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Meanwhile the Raiders, who are bottom of the fiercely-competitive AFC West, are on a three-game losing streak.
Finally, entering the early hours of Friday morning, the 5-5 New Orleans Saints host the 6-4 Buffalo Bills in what should be the closest match of the night.
Both teams are second in their respective divisions, but a win for the Bills would keep them on pace with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and could temporarily see them take the lead in the division.
The Saints however, have won each of their last five matches against the Bills, a run stretching back to 1998.
All of the matches will be available to watch in the UK on Sky Sports Action, providing British NFL fans with a full Thanksgiving football fix.
