Wales and Scotland announced their NatWest Six Nations squads this morning, with current and former Cherry and White players involved.
Current players Ross Moriarty and Owen Williams have both been selected for Wales, whilst Gloucestershire born winger Alex Cuthbert is also selected, despite many calling for his omission.
Former Cinderford RFC winger, Josh Adams has also earned a call up to the Wales squad after a great start to the season. Adams is currently with the Worcester Warriors and has scored nine tries this season.

Elsewhere, Ben Vellacott and Matt Scott have both been overlooked by new Scotland coach Gregor Townsend. Scott has played just 23 minutes for Gloucester this season since picking up an ankle injury in September, while former Scotland U20 International Vellacott has also missed out and is thought to be on England’s radar.
Former Cherry and Whites players Greig Laidlaw and Scott Lawson are both surprise selections, however. Laidlaw is still recovering from injury, while Lawson hasn’t received a international cap in four years.
