On the 18 January, eight people have been fined for travelling from London to Stonehenge, breaking lockdown rules.
Wiltshire police were called to the scene after the group refused to leave.
A 57-year-old woman who was part of the group, was arrested for assaulting a police officer by hitting her in the face, leaving the officer with a cut to her eye.
The four men and three women were issued with £200 fines.
Wiltshire police has issued 21 fixed penalty notices during 11 and 17 January 2021. Bringing the total to 315.
Examples of fines include three men aged 18,19 and 21 that travelled from Bath to Calne to use the skate park and a man that travelled from Luton to Devizes to get a MacDonald’s. These were also issued with £200 fines.
