Further Conti Cup details confirmed for West Ham United Women | West Ham United

Both sides have played three games so far in the Conti Cup group B with Manchester City sat in second place having amassed six points whilst Leicester are in fourth with five points.

The Citizens know that a draw would be enough to ensure them of a quarter final place as they would be the best placed runners up.

However, a win would mean they will overtake local rivals Manchester United and finish top of the group.

The last time the sides met, back in November, City came back from behind to beat the Foxes 4-1 thanks in part to a wondergoal from Keira Walsh putting her side ahead.

The two teams are coming into this game in contrasting form, the visitors are sat fifth in the women’s super league table and have won their last three consecutive games, Leicester on the other hand are rock bottom of the table winning just one of their first eleven matches.

Despite their league record, the hosts have had some positive results in this competition. They beat Durham 2-1 and earnt a very respectable 2-2 draw against Manchester United, gaining the available bonus point by beating them in the penalty shootout.

The East Midland club know that they need a win to guarantee themselves a place in the last eight of the competition.

The side that progress to the next round will play against WSL 2 side Bristol City.

The game will take place tomorrow night at 7pm at the Pirelli Stadium home to League One side Burton.
