The Scottish foursome of Bruce Mouatt, Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan face the USA in the men’s semi-finals at 12:05 on day 13 of the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
If they win, it will guarantee Britain their first medal of what has been a barren campaign so far in the Chinese capital.
However, on their passage through to the semi-final the men have been faultless, winning six out of six which has granted them the hammer advantage going into their last four matchup against the USA.
Curling remains the best chance for Britain to secure a medal after the women also made it through to the semi-final after they beat the Russian Olympic committee in a Draw-Shot Challenge tie-breaker.
