Ahead of tonight’s West-Country derby in the Gallagher Premiership between Bath Rugby and Gloucester Rugby, here’s a look into the past head to head record between the two sides and who to look out for during the contest.
The traveling Gloucester side have only won twice from their last matches ten meetings against Bath, however they did win 29-15 in the most recent West-Country clash.
The home side have dominated the fixture in recent years, with Bath winning six of the past ten games against The Cherry and Whites, including a 52-0 thrashing in their 2019 Premiership Rugby Cup match.
It’s been a season to forget for George Skivington’s Gloucester side who are currently bottom of the Premiership with only one win, a 40-24 home victory over Wasps RFC back in late November, and eight losses.
Bath aren’t in the best of form either, with only one win in their last five matches, however their most recent game against Sale at the AJ Bell Stadium ended in a 27-22 win for Neal Hatley’s side.
But his side will be troubled with the return of Welsh superstar Louis Rees-Zammit who has recently shone in the Guinness Six Nations opening games for Wales.
The 20-year-old winger has scored tries against Ireland and Scotland to help get Wales off to a great start in the tournament, but will return to the starting 15 to face Bath.
Kick off is at 19:45.
